CV Advice

Your CV is your marketing device – it needs to be easy and quick to read.

Your CV is as long as it needs to be.

The 2 page law is nonsense – but longer than 5 is probably too many

Arrange it chronologically in reverse with most recent experience at the start of the CV

Support each role with key achievements and descriptions of role undertaken

Keep Education and qualifications at the bottom

Keep personal interests to a minimum and make them relevant

NO to photographs – too cheesy by half!

NO to 'sentimental' comments about family etc

NO to MBA/management speak or jargon. Somewhat 90s!
